Many different experiences and impressions in one day.
First, we drive to Ban Nam Khem, a fishing village in the north of Khao Lak, where we visit the
Tsunami Memorial Park. This park is located by the sea, near the harbor, the monument is shaped like a wave and is to commemorate the victims of the 2004 tsunami.
Now we drive to the
Si Phang-nga National Park and after a short hike, we reach the most beautiful waterfall of Phang Nga with bathing possibility.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
The next highlight is a canoe trip through the so-called
"Little Amazon" area. A special experience here are the ancient
"Banyan" trees, and maybe you may see animals like monkeys, mangrove snake or herons.
After that we drive to the historic old town of
Takuapa, where you will find relics from the time of tin mining, we visit a typical
Buddhist temple, the Wat Kong Kha Phimook, as well as a
Chinese temple and walk through the historic old town, where time seems to stand still!
A day with many different impressions tends to end and we drive back to your hotel.
